There seems to be a number of stories that goes with this piece. You should put them all together and print them on a panel on the back of your quilt. Knowing the story that goes with the quilt makes it very specail.carorosehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12976291590807462068noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5631637390313519247.post-10187948909017685362013-04-25T19:18:53.861+09:002013-04-25T19:18:53.861+09:00Your coffee pot is lovely and the story was intere...Your coffee pot is lovely and the story was interesting, it is nice to remember these traditions.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5631637390313519247.post-54748855155482215302013-04-25T16:34:10.814+09:002013-04-25T16:34:10.814+09:00Love when you digress:-)!Many things dissappear li...Love when you digress:-)!Many things dissappear like hay stacks and so the coffee pots. Once I bought one of each brand I could find and brought them home, wrote the name of the pen on a piece of fabric and then washed it multiple times. I ended up using "Statler" but over the years it was not all that good. On the other hand, our "son-on-loan does calligraphy and that ink is impossible to get off bedding, carpets, tablecloths, and walls. When he is here, I use the already-decorated furnishings. Re coffee being hotter the old fashioned way, I so agree, the coffee bought in coffee shops loses its heat so quickly as it is heated for such a short time, that is so you do not overstay your visit! The applique flowers are coming on a treat.margarethttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14225676137708827434noreply@blogger.com
