Friday Homework for Lesson 27: Buttonholed Buttonhole Stitch
I'm here at the evening class at Sunday Stitch School to hand in my homework.
The task was easy - a row of Buttonholed Buttonhole Stitches on my Aida sampler.
To show off the Buttonholed legs I made them longer than the bare legs.

It's very pleasing in pink, could you imagine layering rows of different color?

this is a very effective stitch Queenie off to see what Chitra has done, I am sure I follow her but never get notification of when she adds to her blog these days
Yes, I think this will look great 'rows piled on top of each other' or worked in a variegated thread.

I recently walking foot stitched a runner and was most happy with the result.

I hadn't used a walking foot for ages and had forgotten just how easy it is to make nice lines.
It creates and interesting variety of textures, doesn't it!
Yes, it has both the plain Buttonhole legs and these rich bulky ones, so lots of texture.
