TASTy Tuesday Second Helpings 129 - 134

I have now reapeated almost all the 140 TAST stitches.
Of the twelve remaining, here are six beautiful ones:

129) Lock Stitch (when I learned these a long time ago, I struggled, now I had no problem)
130) Double Lock Stitch
131) Beaded Lock Stitch
132) Kikos Flower Stitch (petals) (I am still having difficulty with these, they will NOT be even!)
133) Triple Chain Stitch
134) Fern Stitch (a favourite, so soothing and meditative to work)

This is beautiful. Are you sad that you are almost finished?

Thank you.
No, I am planning to explore other, new to me stitches, once a week, a kind of private TAST...

All those stitches are lovely to look at, even if you never use most of them again.

This collection is simply wonderful and useful - I like specially to see the details - I also made those stitches a few years ago. So I remember Kikos flower stitch - but wouldn't be able to stitch it.

Amazing work, Queenie. I like Kikos flower stitch, maybe like real flowers they don't have to be all even to be beautiful. That's part of the charm.

That is the sad thing - not using most of the stitches I have learned!

I have looked up a lot of the stitches before repeating them. WHY can't we remember how to make them? Is it age?

Of course, you are so right. In nature no flower is a perfect copy of another.

Almost finished, alas for your Followers. How different each of the Lock stitch varieties appear. Love them all.
The Triple and Fern stitches are both pretty. I find Kiko's flower always needs care to execute well - mine are not always but the ones you've displayed look Very neat. Lovely photos.

I think by now you should be able to invent your own special stitches. You could even give them challenging mixed-language names!

Beautiful stitching! I love the color combinations you used. Your kikos flowers look great to me. (I remember having a really hard time with those.)

I just looked at the tutorial for Kikos flowers, and it looks a little complicated to me!
