WIPW - At last some progress!!!

WIPW - Work In Progress Wednesday.

All summer the meterological climate in Tokyo has been too hot, and the work climate around me way too hot for sewing. Recently though, the weather has turned to lovely and the work load lessened slightly. The result; I've found a wee bit of time to work on the Fruity Cushion. It is SO nice to SEW again!!!

Fruity Cushion
I've completed the turquoise spikes around the circle and added a lot of French Knots.

I really hope to have more progress to show next week.

Thank you to all my faithful friends who have visited and left kind comments although I have not had the time to answer. I hope to be more blog active from now on.

Thanks, Pamela
I'll add a lot more French Knots today!

I've been missing both sewing and blogging, and need to visit blogs for inspiration.

Glad you are getting some time for yourself AND things that stay done. Looking forward to seeing you more regularly.

Artificial climate through air conditioning can NEVER replace the lovely feeling of naturally cool(ish) air. SO much easier to work in!

Hi, Julie!
It is nice to be back sewing and blogging - I hope for a very long time!

Nice to see you back again Queenie! You have added some nice texture to your cushion.

It looks wonderful! And it is so nice to "see" you again. :)

Thank you Renee. Unlike you I have not worked much but hope to get back (a bit anyway) at my daily stint of sewing.

Hi Susan,
At the moment I am working with what MIGHT be the last area on the cushion. If it feels right I can then start the construction work.

I know the feeling! So easy to fall out of blogging, not so easy to get back into it. It's great to see your work again.

Queeniepatch said...

You know, Chitra, I didn't really like French Knots before I joined TAST. Until then I always 'cheated' and used Colonial Knots instead. Now I can do either knot stitch without 'fear'.

Hi Lilian,
I had no progress whatsoever of my own to blog on, and no time to surf the net or even answer emails properly. Now things seem to have eased off, AND it is cooler and nice.

Good to see you back! Keep your work and your play in balance if you can.

It's good to be back, and let's hope I can keep that balance! You, too, enjoy a crafty autumn!
