WIPW - At last some progress!!!

WIPW - Work In Progress Wednesday.

All summer the meterological climate in Tokyo has been too hot, and the work climate around me way too hot for sewing. Recently though, the weather has turned to lovely and the work load lessened slightly. The result; I've found a wee bit of time to work on the Fruity Cushion. It is SO nice to SEW again!!!

Fruity Cushion
I've completed the turquoise spikes around the circle and added a lot of French Knots.

I really hope to have more progress to show next week.

Thank you to all my faithful friends who have visited and left kind comments although I have not had the time to answer. I hope to be more blog active from now on.

    1. Artificial climate through air conditioning can NEVER replace the lovely feeling of naturally cool(ish) air. SO much easier to work in!

    1. Hi Susan,
At the moment I am working with what MIGHT be the last area on the cushion. If it feels right I can then start the construction work.

    1. You know, Chitra, I didn't really like French Knots before I joined TAST. Until then I always 'cheated' and used Colonial Knots instead. Now I can do either knot stitch without 'fear'.

  11. I know the feeling! So easy to fall out of blogging, not so easy to get back into it. It's great to see your work again.

    1. Hi Lilian,
I had no progress whatsoever of my own to blog on, and no time to surf the net or even answer emails properly. Now things seem to have eased off, AND it is cooler and nice.
