TAST #101 - Triangular Buttonhole Stitch

Here is another lovely member of the Buttonhole family, TAST #101 Triangular Buttonhole Stitch.

I have used a # 4042 variegated DMC Perle 5 for the top row and DMC Perle 5 in green #704 for the second row.

This would make a beautiful edge or border stitch. If you want to learn how to make it, head over to Pintangle and let Sharon teach you. Free and fun!

I like the way the variegated thread makes this look.

It is easy to do but looks quite striking, don't you think?

Variegated thread can turn any mundane stitich into a stunner! Here you have a stunning stitch in a stunning thread so the result is doubly stunning!

Lovely examples. It's always surprising to see how variegated threads can change simple or even complex stitches.

This is a fun and easy stitch and I am now going to try out the beaded version.

Please try it out. It is easy to do and of course you can change the angle of the vertical bars. Next for me is the beaded version.
