TAST # 79 Chained Cross Stitch

The latest TAST stitch is #79 Chained Cross Stitch and is a combination of a Half Cross stitch and a slanted Chain stitch.

I tried to work it in a mirror image:
The stitch definitely has much more potential than this and I am toying with the idea of how to use it in my WIPW embroidery...

    1. My time for stitching is very limited at the moment, but I do try to post my TAST stitch before a new stitch has been announced. I have not had much chance to do a proper project with each stitch.

  2. Great work! I have tried this stitch today with a thicker silk yarn, looks quite different.
As we all know life can be very demanding. I missed you all and I missed my time for stitching. Hopefully all will be back to normal for a while.

    1. I am sure the stitch will take on another look with a different thread or yarn. I hope you will find at least a bit of time each day to take a few stitches. For me just five minutes, and I feel satisfied even on the most hectic of days.
Hope to see more work on your blog soon!

    1. I am quite sure this stitch will work its way into the WIPW embroidery; there are some new lines to fill with a linear stitch and this could be it!
Have you tried the stitch yet?

    1. Thanks, Barbara.
TAST and WIPW are great whips, or carrots, to get things done. I don't want to push everything into the future...
